Our Story
Give your taste buds a treat at Sari Sari Sweets! Since 2006, Leslie has been baking sweet and savory pastries for the lovely people of Carrboro and Chapel Hill.

Growing up in VA, Leslie baked cookies as a child and spent summers in MD learning how to cook from her grandmother. After college, she enrolled in culinary school at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Once she received a degree in Culinary Arts, she moved to NC and worked at Four Square in Durham. Wanting to learn more about baking, she worked at a local bakery before applying to sell pastries at the Carrboro Farmer's Market. Thanks to the market, she has been able to work and raise her two boys from home.

Leslie is passionate about food and has a commitment to provide high quality pastries for our community and plans on continuing this tradition for years to come. We welcome you to come by market and have a bite.
